I had a conversation with someone and the question "do you match underneath your clothes?" came up. Please don't ask! In my head I was like huh? because nope, they don't. I've never been one to fuss or care if my top matched my bottom or vice versa cuz ya see.. not "matchin" is the story of my life! My body = boring up top, party down the bottom (i.e. my top drawer is a mess!) LOL!It would be nice if I could go into a store and buy cute bras and panties but ummm.. that ain't MY reality. For starters, does Vickie S carry extra large? *bastids* Second, I'm kinda cheap.. ok a whole lotta cheap and I refuse to pay $20 for a size 34 bra. Nope, can't do it. I don't care how much it promises to lift and separate. Can it promise to make both my tiddays the same freakin size so I ain't slacking in one cup and spilling out the other? Hmpf, didn't think so!
The conversation was lighthearted in the beginning but as soon as I said my shyt ain't match, you could hear a mouse piss on cotton. *sigh* I was scolded. Said that I should be ashamed of myself to be a grown azz woman walkin round looking a hot mess under my clothes. I don't understand the "bigness" of it cuz I do what I want but my question is, do women go out their way to match and/or wear lingerie (cuz I don't do that either) and do men/signig other really care?
I need to know what's really good. Holla atcha girl!

I match when I feel like it, and rarely do I feel like it. I just grab some draws and a bra and keep it movin. Plus, that issh don't stay on long enough to be enjoyed in all its matching brilliancy. For real. Which is why if I was matching, it was during the cycle. I'd walk around in the undies then because they were guaranteed to stay on. (I ain't hardly think I was gon share all this...*cracking up*).

Plus, they don't make the cute matching stuff in bigger sizes. You ever try buying a 40 DD bra and matching panties in Walmart, Target and such? The crap is ugly and most of the time, the panties don't come with the bra. And buying from VS and Frederick's cost too dayum much. So...
I used to match - of course this was years ago before I had kids and my body remorphed itself some kinda way. I have probably been 3 or 4 different sizes since 2000 - for true.
Plus, I ain't got that kinda time these days to be strolling through Vickie's like I used to. Only time I go in there now is to grab a gift for a homegirl's bridal shower every once in a while.
And furthermore, the Chairman is on this boyshorts obsession anyway sooooooo.........

LMAO! Depends on who I'm seeing HA! nah I use to be obsessed with my undies but as of late I'm like Eh! I think it is because the sporadic action...every couple weeks and NOT with someone I really want to be with so I goes through the motions and the presentation is less important. But in general I prefer for all my shyt to match. I buy everything in sets so I generally wear them in sets. Boyshorts and a cute bra are my favorite...thongs are played to me although I know that they are better suited for some. Most of the men i know like the boyshorts best *shrug*

I tend to match my undergarments not perfectly but if I have on pink and purple undies my bra might be pink or purple if not then it's probably white..I am bottom heavy LOL so most of them time my bras are black or white LOL that matches everything haha
Ok, here's a 22 year old's prospective: top and bottom matching is cute and hip, it's the thing to do. You don't see the women in movies wearing anything that's mismatching. Although that would be funny as crap. They should put that in a comedy or something! Anyway, guys like it.
It's funny you blogged about this because this past week, I spent over $200 in matching tops and bottoms. Now I'm not a DD like my top heavy sister over there (*THANK YOU LORD*), so bras aren't THAT expensive for me. Although I did this, I don't match all the time. Unlike my sister, I don't match when I'm bleeding. Whose gonna see your draws then anyway, right?
Summing everything up...I think the whole matching thing is a young person thing anyway...the older you get the more you're like I don't give a freak!

@ TW - I was saying I wear them when bleeding because that's the only time they're guaranteed to stay on. My first point was ain't nobody goin through all that matchin when the minute you reveal it, somebody's snatchin it off. So I wear it when I know I won't be touched.
@ everybody - yeah, this hooka did spend over $200 on bras/panties. And all of them were cute. What did my section have? Besides all solid colors, the granny tan, cream and beige collection. Yeah whatever!

HAHAHAHAH... GIRL, YOU AIN'T NEVER LIED HERE. I don't do vicky...in fact someone gave me a Christmas gift card to there...and I was mad...like I'm only going to be able to buy one thing, but since I had that gift card I do KNOW they have XL's...LOL.

I match pretty much everyday except when im wearing a t-shirt bra, cuz those don't come with matching panties (as far as i know), but i still attempt to match colour wise. I don't find it difficult to match at all. I buy in pairs (usually I'll pick up different varieties of the matching bottoms), so it makes sense to just wear em in pairs. Plus when I do laundry I put them away so the pairs all match up...
but thats just me
